The NOTUS project is improving NOTUS capacities with the funding of EU H2020’s EIC SME Instrument to help make renewable wind energy a reference in Europe.
Within this framework, a new member of the Notus family has developed and is finally on the market: Notus-lab. It is specifically aimed at researchers and developers of wind energy and new materials laboratories.
Notus-lab allows the measurement of the full layer thickness of each coating layer in composite materials used in the wind and aerospace industry. Its main improvements go through increasing the precision and speed in the characterization of a wide variety of materials, making it the perfect tool for researchers and developers of new structures and materials in the wind industry.
